A Bus Service
I wasn't brought up in a massive Manchester United family. In fact, my love for the club came a little later.
As I started getting more into football, I found myself drawn to United. What started as an interest quickly became a genuine love for the club — and before long, it had rubbed off on my brother and my dad too.
Our love for United kept growing, eventually leading us to get season tickets and make the journey from Edinburgh to Manchester whenever we could.
But there was always one problem: getting there.
Travelling from Edinburgh to Manchester for a match should be something to look forward to, but the reality of inconsistent, unreliable and often rowdy train journeys could take away from the experience before you'd even reached Old Trafford. Over time, that travelling could even make you think twice about going.
That's where the idea for this came from.
I wanted to create a way for United fans in Edinburgh and beyond to simply get on, enjoy the journey and arrive ready for matchday — without the stress of figuring out trains, connections or getting home afterwards.
So this isn't just a bus service to me. It's something I created from my own experience as a United fan.
